TileMount is a rigid panel designed to replace a standard tile in a suspended ceiling with the ability to support a lighting unit or other fixture. The optional electrical and data outlets eliminate unsightly wiring. Applications include: video and theatrical lighting, retail display, conference and meeting rooms, themed environments, churches, and other places of assembly.
SPECIFICATIONS
TileMount shall be a structural panel intended for use with a suspended ceiling and capable of supporting a minimum of a 25 lb. center point load. It shall be flame retardant, body colored and weigh less than 1.5 lbs. per square foot. The standard color shall be white. An optional single gang electrical box shall be flush mounted and available with the following electrical power receptacles: 15A duplex, L5-20 twistlok and 20A stagepin. Standard faceplate shall be painted white metal with custom faceplates available. An optional single gang box shall be flush mounted and available with the following data and low voltage connections: DMX, video, audio, RJ-11, RJ-45, and other industry standard outlets.
CAUTION
Please note that the weight bearing capacity of the suspended ceiling is not increased through the use of a TileMount. Before using TileMount, you must refer to the ceiling manufacturer’s specification and local building codes to ensure your application does not exceed safe load limits.
